also I thought I would share a few pics of my stall from today.
Mum & I had a great day & made a few quid each.
I had an idea to do a little tombola with some knitted bits & some cards & it went down a treat!! Nearly every person who had a go won it was so gratifying watching kids go away so happy!
One boy got upset because he didn't win so I gave him something on the sly to cheer him up...I'm such a softy!!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I am very tired now but extremely happy after today & my candy goodness & Andi's dad has just got home from hospital. Just over a week after having a quadruple by pass, not bad going eh?!!

Also Lilly (the rabbit) is doing much better, having to back for antibiotic injections every few days, but at least no operation needed & she seems quite happy.
All good!!!

Wohoo 100 followers!!

A thundery watery morning to you all.
I have just noticed as of today I have 100 followers.
I thought it was maybe a cause for celebration with some candy so stay tuned for its arrival coming soon!!!

Pretty Packaging to Die for!!!!

This is my "Pretty Packaging" for the Saturday Challenge which I have also combined with
Die Cut Dreams Challenge "Anything but a card"

This is a keepsake box which I will also use as a gift box for a wedding I have coming up soon.
Recipe:
The ribbon & box have come from a bag of stash my brothers partner Ali has sent me. She saw that I am a craft addict & sorted out all the bits she thought she might do something with & haven't got around to it & sent them to me....how cool is that!!
The papers are Stampin Up which were from Jeannette (don't forget about Jeannette she has just moved to wordpress)
The rose I have made with some pre punched flowers from Jen she sent me to have a go at this fab tutorial here
The die cut car is from Die Cut Dreams (where else? lol!!) I have coloured it a bit using my water colour pencils to give it a bit of life & then stuck the "just married" & bow (which I have recycled from one of my own wedding cards!) on with sticky pads.

....on a personal note what a mental day today has been! First of all I was going to my craft morning at Amanda's then I'm not because my FIL was being discharged from hospital, then he wasn't so I could have gone to my craft morning. Now he might be coming home tomorrow & he might not, so I don't know when I can have the car to organise going to the Thorpe Willoughby Carnival on saturday as I have booked a table to have a stall.

OMG have I been confused today!! .....anyways I am just about sorted for Saturday if I can make it & tonight I am off to Salsa dancing with my friend.

It is a thank you teacher card & thought my sister my like it to give from my niece to her teacher now she's at big school!

Moving Along with the times first challenge

Moving along with the times first challenge is a sketch by Hazel with a theme of
"Strawberries & cream with some chocolate"
I have used one of my new D&D stamps that I won from the last D&D challenge.
I coloured it with my water colour pencils & drew the strawberries myself.
I have also used D&D papers to try & match the strawberries & cream with chocolate theme although strawberries are actually red & my paper is pink.
The cake is a strawberry & chocolate cake!!!

For Carol's sketch I have turned it on its side & used SU papers which were a prize from Jeannette's blog candy a little while ago & the image is one Vanja sent me.
I have used this lovely Sarah Kay image because she is on her bike & it fits in with the Cute Card Thursday challenge "Wheely good fun" they want to see wheels on our cards.
I coloured it with my water colour pencils & used my SU punches for the scallop circle & circle.
Its a bit fruity!!!
